Panic!

I've been recently plagued with a severe anxiety disorder to the point that I even reached Panicking. Aside from the deadline my Art Coach's boss has given me for the oneshot submission, I have another deadline to catch up and it's for this November's Board Examinations. Fortunately, I finished 11/25 signatures with some luck and thanks to a good friend and former classmate. The deadline is on the 15th next week and I have to hunt down my other former instructor's for their signatures so I can accomplish this on or before the deadline! :faint:

I haven't progressed further than page 5 of my oneshot project because of this and some other factors like Review Classes (8am-5pm weekdays). So I spend the little time left I have scribbling some pages while during review classes. Since it's gonna be purely digital instead of traditional, I have to draw it again via tablet so I made quick and not-so-good-looking scribbles. But it's good that I finally made progress on drawing backgrounds on paper.

Front Page Sweeeeeeetness!

Woooohoooo! A friend of my Art Coach was kind enough to lend me a hand in making a front page for my oneshot :boogie: and I recently found out that he's a doujin artist (kinda like a mangaka in some aspects). He told me (with Musubi interpreting) that he likes my four main characters... well, mostly because they're all females with intricate history and personalities (and yes, also because of a minor yuri and ecchi element --- It can't be helped *sigh*)

I can't wait for it and I feel blessed at the moment. Now I feel even more pressured not to ruin or mess up this opportunity.

Art Coach #2

Another development... and this time, I have another Art Coach! O_O
I seriously don't need another, but I have to face it, I'm a late bloomer and I progress so slow due to the fact that I'm lazy ('Juan Tamad' / 'Lazy John' mentality) and busy most of the time. This time I was taught to minimize traces of shoujo style art, but not completely erase it since my main characters are females after all. I had to start practicing drawing whole body images ranging in different sizes and positions (I even practiced drawing ero positions --- I'm using those *wink* *wink* type of doujins as reference!) and I noticed that I'm now drawing longer and "meatier" legs than usual. And perspectives, I think I'm progressing just so-so. Whenever I'm bored during lectures on my review classes, I practice perspectives by scribbling anything that just pops up in my head --- like, pantyshots with the camera on the bottom, topview of a girl eating ice cream (or was it? *devious grin*), and the like. Yes, I know, my perverted mind is as sharp as ever. But hey, I'm merely following the footsteps of one of my fave artists (like Oh Great! :rofl:)

But what I've observed from my Art Coach and my other Art Coach is...
How come most women draw MEN better and the other way goes around for men? That's what I just observed from really good female artists I know.

To continue...

Yo, kaede-san. Yep, I'm mentally f'd up because of it. I'm not yet done with my requirements so that's what causing my paranoia discombobulating me from everything related to this course and well... making me miss a hell lot of review classes. Thanks, I just hope I can pass in one go.

Btw, I've become a pure digital artist (rarely draw traditional unless it's scribbles or just a product of boredom)... so I dunno how we can do the art trade ^^;

Anyways, just keep in touch at the otaku boards :D

Aight. Just don't make it complicated. I barely have any practice on my coloring ^^;

Lol, I just wish I'd pass this with one strike. Hmmm, but with this course as not even close to being my forte, I'm doubting it. Anyways, come what may.
